These aromas often result from naturally expressive grape varieties or from carefully controlled oak aging. Spicy reds: depth and structure

Spicy red wines often come from grape varieties such as Syrah , Grenache , Mourvèdre , Malbec , or Tempranillo . They offer silky tannins, a beautiful structure, and a long finish with aromas of sweet or peppery spices. A signature selection:

  • Côte-Rôtie or Saint-Joseph made from Syrah
  • Châteauneuf-du-Pape with hints of garrigue and spices
  • Ribera del Duero or Rioja Reserva (Spain)
