The family estate draws its strength from five generations of expertise and perseverance. Today, managed by Arnaud and Alban Chopin, it combines rigor and modernity. Arnaud, a trained oenologist, joined the estate in 1997, followed by his brother Alban, who previously worked at the François Frères cooperage, in 2000. Together, they reduced the vineyard area to better control each plot and fully committed to organic viticulture, certified across the entire estate.

Production specifics

The grapes are harvested entirely by hand, allowing for traditional whole-cluster fermentation. This method preserves the finesse of the tannins, the aromatic freshness, and promotes the complexity of the wines. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with extended maceration. The wine is aged for 12 to 14 months in oak barrels (including a portion of new, sustainably sourced oak), followed by 6 to 8 months in terracotta jars. The wines are bottled without fining or filtration, following the lunar calendar for optimal natural stability.
