Floral white wines: purity and freshness

Floral white wines often come from grape varieties such as Muscat , Gewurztraminer , Viognier , Sauvignon Blanc , or Riesling . They offer lovely tension, aromas of white flowers, sometimes exotic, and a fresh finish.

Gewurztraminer (Alsace) – rose, lychee, oriental flowers
Viognier (Rhône, Languedoc) – violet, apricot, acacia blossom
Sauvignon Blanc (Loire, New Zealand) – elderberry, lemongrass, bright floral notes

Perfect as an aperitif, with sushi, grilled fish or fragrant vegetarian dishes.

Floral rosés and reds: finesse and charm
