La Mentheuse was born of a simple obsession: to make a crème de menthe that genuinely tastes of mint. The house selects two French varieties with complementary profiles: peppermint, intense and expressive, for minty power, and white mint, softer and more aromatic, for roundness. The plants are distilled naturally, respecting their original aromas, with no colourings or artificial flavourings. These distillates are combined with sugar sourced 100% from fruit, for a balanced sweetness that is never syrupy. At just 15% ABV, this is a liqueur designed for lightness, far from the industrial crèmes de menthe that weigh down the end of a meal.

The attack is soft and indulgent, immediately followed by a clean, almost invigorating minty freshness. The peppermint comes through with intensity and fine aromatic purity, without aggressiveness. The finish reveals a slight peppery touch, the signature of a subtle balance between fresh herbal notes and spicy elegance, which lingers without overpowering.

Perfect as a digestif, served well chilled over ice or as a shot. It also lends itself to cocktails where mint is king: a premium mojito, a mint julep, or simply topped up with sparkling water for a refreshing drink with character.
