With the 2023 Granit 30, Domaine Vincent Paris presents the new vintage of its entry point to the Cornas range: still 100% Syrah from the appellation's 30-year-old granite parcels, vinified without added sulphur in a precise style true to the terroir. 2023, a generous and harmonious vintage in the northern Rhône, is producing Cornas that are more approachable in their youth than the 2022s, without sacrificing the depth typical of the appellation. The 2023 Granit 30 expresses itself with the directness and depth that characterise the Vincent Paris style. An intense nose of black fruit (blackberry, blackcurrant, blueberry), spice (black pepper, liquorice) and a touch of violet. The palate is powerful and well structured, the tannins tight but silkier than the 2022, the finish long and spicy. A Cornas that is approachable now but will also age well. Grilled rib of beef, lamb, game, strong cheeses. Decant for 1h30. Serve between 17 and 18 °C.
