Domaine Vincent Lumpp's white Le Vigron is one of the most convincing expressions of Chardonnay in the Côte Chalonnaise. On this Givry Premier Cru, vines averaging 30 years old sink their roots into a free-draining limestone terroir that shapes a wine of fine mineral tension. In keeping with the estate's philosophy, the grapes are pressed slowly and then vinified in oak barrels, a method that gradually builds aromatic complexity while preserving the mineral backbone typical of white Givry. At 13.5% ABV, the 2024 vintage shows good ripeness.

The colour is a clear, bright light gold. The nose is elegant and precise: honey, lemon, lime blossom and lily, a finely woven floral and fruity profile. The palate balances richness and acidity harmoniously, creating the tension that defines characterful white Givry. The finish is long and persistent, with an increasingly assertive minerality. With a few years in bottle, notes of dried fruit and toast will complete the palette. Ageing potential of 3 to 5 years.

Perfect with pike in beurre blanc, fish in sauce, roast white meats or pressed cheeses such as Saint-Nectaire or young Cantal. Serve at 10-12°C.
