Les Premières Grives is Domaine Tariquet's icon, the cuvée that has set the standard for sweet Gascon wine for decades. A 100% Gros Manseng, harvested at the first autumn frosts from 1,000 hectares of vineyards in the Gers, vinified to express the grape's natural richness while preserving the lively acidity that sets Les Grives apart from heavy sweet wines. The 2025 vintage, new to the range, is already available for pre-order: freshness, aromatic purity, the same DNA as previous vintages. The colour is golden and bright. The nose opens on intense aromas of candied citrus, mango and pineapple, with a touch of candied fruit. On the palate, the attack is smooth and velvety, before the Gros Manseng's natural acidity takes over to finish on a lively, almost saline note. Gourmand but never heavy, lively and airy: the unchanging signature of Les Premières Grives since their creation. Foie gras, chicken in cream sauce, prawns in coconut milk, mild curry, ewe's milk cheeses. Serve between 6 and 8 °C.
