Located in Meursault, Domaine Albert Grivault is a leading name in the production of great white Burgundy wines. The estate has a monopoly on the emblematic "Le Clos des Perrières" vineyard, considered one of the best climats in Meursault, and even cited by Alexis Lichine in his Encyclopedia of Wines and Spirits as rivaling the incomparable Montrachet.
This one-hectare walled vineyard is a true gem of the Meursault terroir, with rich clay-limestone soils and perfect exposure that promotes the slow ripening of the Chardonnay grapes. The resulting complexity and minerality are at the heart of the estate's identity, producing powerful, elegant wines with exceptional aging potential.
Clos des Perrières is renowned for its incredible aging potential. A vertical tasting, conducted in 1999 and covering vintages from 1997 to 1895, demonstrated the longevity and harmonious evolution of these wines, as reported in the book "Bourgogne aujourd'hui" under the title "Tout Près de l'Everest" (So Close to Everest). This exceptional aging capacity was once again confirmed in 2019 during the estate's 140th anniversary celebrations.

Domaine Albert Grivault is a family-run winery, now managed by Michel Bardet, Albert's grandson. Production is characterized by meticulous viticulture, with hand-harvesting to select only the finest grapes.
