Chardonnay is the most global white grape there is, able to adapt to any climate, but it is under the Mediterranean sun that it reveals a particularly generous aromatic richness. La Belle Angèle offers a frank, straightforward version: immediate pressing, cold settling, low-temperature fermentation (16-18°C) to preserve the varietal aromas, then three months of ageing on the lees in tank to add roundness without weighing down the profile. Drink within the year, without waiting.

The colour is a beautiful golden yellow with bright highlights. The nose is expressive and generous: ripe pear, white flowers and, in the background, a light and elegant touch of vanilla. On the palate, the Chardonnay settles in with roundness over controlled acidity, and the finish is broad and persistent: a white that makes you want to sit down to eat.

Just as at home as an aperitif as in an unexpected pairing with sushi, herb-roasted chicken or crispy fish and chips. Serve at 10-12°C.
